The third round of the Premier League season is scheduled to be played next weekend with the opening day of two day matches in Sawtell and Woolgoolga.

Sawtell play host to Harwood at Richardson Park in a replay of the 2019 grand final, while the Northern Districts Rebels host Valleys Cricket in Woolgoolga in a rematch of last season’s preliminary final.

Sawtell are yet to play a two-day match this season having had the opening round bye then a washout, while Harwood are still to open their winning account this season after an opening round loss to Valleys Cricket and a draw with Rebels.

The Rebels are the early ladder ladders with a win and a draw, and play the second placed Valleys Cricket who won their only game.

Last round’s scheduled match between Sawtell and Coffs Colts at Richardson Park was washed out, and the Colts have the bye in Round 3.
