Coffs best junior cricketers prepare for representative duties at home

COFFS Harbour’s best junior cricketers are scheduled to represent their region at home this weekend during the latest round of the North Coast Cricket Council’s inter-district representative matches.

Coffs Harbour District Cricket Association’s junior representative teams will take on the Lower Clarence Cricket Association’s junior rep sides in the final round of matches before this season’s grand finals in January.

The Coffs Harbour Under 16 rep team play host to Lower Clarence at Fitzroy Oval on Sunday.

The Coffs Harbour Under 16s are in the box seat to qualify for the inter-district final having won both of their representative matches this season.

The Coffs Harbour Under 14 rep team takes on Lower Clarence this weekend at the Coffs Coast Hockey Fields.

The Coffs Harbour Under 14s currently sit in second spot on the ladder having won two of their three representative matches this season.

The Coffs Harbour Under 12 side takes on Lower Clarence at Toormina Oval needing to win to qualify for this season’s inter-district grand final, after splitting their first two representative games of the season.

THE Coffs Harbour District Cricket Association’s junior seasons are also underway with the first three rounds played last month.

Coffs Colts are the early Under 16s ladder leaders, Bellingen/Dorrigo lead the way in the Under 14s, while the Northern Districts Rebels-White sit atop of the Under 12s.
