Grafton Ghosts go to top of the ladder

WITH just one round to go before this year’s finals series, the Grafton Ghosts have taken a big step towards winning this year’s minor premiership with a 26-4 win in their local derby against the South Grafton Rebels, during Round 14 of the Tooheys New Group 2 Rugby League season.

The win sees the Ghosts move into top spot and two points clear of the Coffs Harbour Comets, after the Comets lost to the Bellingen/Valley Dorrigo Magpies 30-12 at home.

Round 14 also saw the Macksville Sea Eagles remain in contention for the minor premiership with a 26-16 win at home against the Woolgoolga Seahorses.
