THE Sawtell/Toormina Saints and Grafton Tigers are set to meet tomorrow for the first time since last year’s grand final, during the latest round of the AFL North Coast season.
The Saints will look to lift at home after coming off a 110-point loss to the Lismore Swans, while the Tigers had last round off due to a forfeit.
The defending premiers Tigers sit at fourth spot on the ladder, while the Saints have had an indifferent start to the season and will look for the big scalp after winning two of their opening five matches.
The ladder leading Coffs Harbour Breakers will look to make it seven wins in a row to start the season when they host the Casino Lions at Fitzroy Oval.
The Breakers maintained their undefeated start to the season in Round 6 with a 23-point victory against fellow top 4 side the Port Macquarie Magpies.
The Northern Beaches Blues host the Port Macquarie Magpies in Round 7 at Woolgoolga.
The Blues currently sit second on the ladder after last week’s 62-point win against the Casino Lions.
Round 7 also sees the Nambucca Valley Lions host the Lismore Swans.
