Coffs Harbour Breakers go top of the ladder

THE Coffs Harbour Breakers have gone to the top of the AFL North Coast ladder after a 63-point win against the Lismore Swans in their top of the table clash in Lismore.

The Breakers beat the Swans 19.16 (130) to 10.7 (67) to remain the only undefeated team after the first four rounds of the season.

The Northern Beaches Blues recorded their first win of the season in Round 4 beating the Nambucca Valley Lions 10.6 (66) to 5.4 (34) in Nambucca Heads.

Defending premiers Grafton Tigers moved into the top four with a 13.11 (89) to 7.8 (50) victory away from home against the Port Macquarie Magpies.


The Coffs Harbour Breakers maintained their unbeaten start to the season accounting for the Lismore Swans by 25 points in their top of the ladder showdown in Lismore.

The defending premiers won their third match in a row to start the season to sit at the top of the ladder.

The Port Macquarie Magpies won their first match of the season with a 4.15 (39) to 1.0 (6) victory against the Grafton Tigers.
