Coffs and Lismore play off for top spot

TOP spot on the ladder will be on the line when the Coffs Harbour Breakers meet the Lismore Swans in an early season blockbuster at Lismore.

The top two teams on the ladder meet during this weekend’s fourth round of the AFL North Coast season.

The Swans sit at the top of the ladder after three straight wins to start the season, while the Breakers have won their first two matches before their Round 3 match was postponed.

The Sawtell/Toormina Saints host the Casino Lions at Richardson Park tomorrow afternoon.

The Saints hit the field at home out for their second straight win, while the Lions still search for their first win of the season.

The Port Macquarie Magpies host the Grafton Tigers as both teams look for a spot in the top 4.

The defending premiers Tigers have had an up and down start to the season with one win and a draw from their opening three games, while the Magpies have won two of their first three games of the season.

Nambucca Valley Lions host the Northern Beaches Blues in a crucial early season contest as both teams look for their first win of the season.

The Coffs Harbour Breakers and Lismore Swans face off in their top of the table clash in Lismore tomorrow afternoon.

The Breakers and Swans have both won their opening two matches of the season, with the reigning premiers Breakers sitting on top due to superior percentage.

Round 5 also sees the Port Macquarie Magpies host the Grafton Tigers as both sides play off for their first win of the season.
