Coffs Basketball reaches semis

Crunch time has arrived for Coffs Harbour basketballers as teams played the final round of the season before the semi-finals.

The final round of the Coffs Harbour Basketball Association’s regular season was decided on Wednesday night at Sportz Central.

Paradise Island capped off a brilliant A-grade season with a 62-59 victory against Test Eagles – their 15th of the season.

The Bag clinched second spot with a 54-35 win against Butter Chicken.

And Hot Wings finished third on the ladder after a 65-50 win against Run It Back.

The semi-finals will be decided on Wednesday, December 2 at Sportz Central.

A-grade final standings

1. Paradise Island 47 points: 15 wins. 1 loss.

2. The Bag 38 points: 10 wins. 6 losses.

3. Hot Wings 37 points: 11 wins. 5 losses.

4. Butter Chicken 36 points: 10 wins. 6 losses.

5. Super Crisp 30 points: 7 wins. 10 losses.

6. Test Eagles 29 points: 7 wins. 8 losses.

7. Artisti 25 points: 3 wins. 13 losses.

8. Run It Back 20 points: 2 wins. 14 losses.

A-grade women’s

The final round of the A-grade women’s season was also decided this week at Sportz Central.

Dunkalicious beat the ladder leading Let It Rain 58-56, while PINK clinched second spot on the ladder with a 76-55 win against Glamchels.

1. Let it Rain 45 points: 12 wins. 3 losses.

2. PINK 39 points: 11 wins. 4 losses.

3. Dunkalicious 38 points: 9 wins. 6 losses.

4. Glamchels 28 points: 4 wins. 11 losses.

5. Ballers 23 points: 4 wins. 11 losses.

6. Dynamic Signalling 17 points: 3 wins. 8 losses.
