That’s the opportunity which awaits the winner of the Coffs Harbour Breakers and Sawtell/Toormina Saints when they face off in their elimination semi-final on Saturday afternoon at Fitzroy Oval.
The winner will take on the Grafton Tigers in this season’s AFL North Coast grand final on Saturday, October 10 at the Cex. Coffs International Stadium.
The two best clubs of the past five years get the chance to play for an opportunity to add another premiership to their trophy cabinet, with the Breakers having won in 2017 and 2019, while the Saints won in 2015, 2016, and 2018.
The Saints won their first two meetings this season, while the Breakers won their most recent meeting three weeks ago.
The Northern Beaches Blues and Sawtell/Toormina Saints meet for a chance to play the Coffs Harbour Breakers in this season’s grand final, with a place in the premiership decider up for grabs in their semi-final at Fitzroy Oval.
The Blues have beaten the Saints the last three times they have played, with the Sawtell side having endured a tough 2020 season having not won since the opening round.
The Nambucca Valley Lions will look to remain undefeated and book a grand final spot when they take on the Northern Beaches Blues in their home semi-final.
