This season’s minor premiership will be up for grabs on Saturday afternoon during the final round of the North Coast Cricket Council’s Premier League season.
Current ladder leaders Sawtell travel to Woolgoolga to take on the Northern Districts Rebels in what has been an even season series between the region’s two Premier League clubs.
Sawtell and the Rebels have split their four matches this season, with Sawtell winning their most recent meeting in early February, chasing down the Rebels total of 318 for a memorable one wicket victory at Richardson Park.
Sawtell sits at the top of the Premier League ladder just four points ahead of Harwood, and a win against the Rebels will see them clinch the minor premiership and the all-important home-field advantage for the finals.
Harwood host Valleys Cricket in Round 15 as Harwood look to try to win their second minor premiership in a row.
Harwood have won three of their four meetings with Valleys Cricket this season, with their opening round match finishing in a tie.
Harwood were 66-run victors the last time they met in Round 12 at Philip Hughes Oval.
