Big day for Breakers in Grafton

The Coffs Harbour Breakers have maintained top spot on the AFL North Coast ladder with a 20.21 (141) to 4.2 (26) thumping of the Grafton Tigers during Round 10 of the AFL North Coast season.

The Breakers maintained their gap at the top of the ladder with their ninth win from their first ten games of the season.

Aidan Wallace kicked six goals for the Breakers while teammate Nicklaus Stanlan-Velt kicked four in Grafton.

The Port Macquarie Magpies kept their minor premiership hopes alive with a 14.8 (92) to 8.4 (52) home win against the Sawtell/Toormina Saints.

Women’s

The Port Macquarie Magpies kept in touch with ladder ladders Coffs Harbour Breakers with a 4.5 (29) to 1.7 (13) win at home against the Sawtell/Toormina Saints.

The Breakers accounted for the Northern Beaches Blues/Grafton Tigers in Grafton, staying on top of the ladder with their eighth win form their first ten games of the season.
